You may have seen flyers around the Center or in the newsletter and wondered, “What is this new program starting in October?”

The American Lung Association, in partnership with the Delaware Division of Public Health’s Physical Activity, Nutrition, and Obesity Prevention Program (PANO), supports grants for local communities to promote healthy lifestyles! These are the same organizations that gave us the “Empowered Aging” program last year, and since that was such a hit, I applied again this summer! This time around, I wanted to expand the number of people involved and add an intergenerational twist since I have seen how much the members appreciate activities that incorporate various age ranges.
